A Ton of Stuff Announced at Latest Nintendo Direct

Everyone knew this was going to happen, but Nintendo made it official. SNES games are finally heading to the Switch.

The first 20 games are below and will be available to play on September 5.

  • Breath of Fire
  • Demon’s Crest
  • F-Zero
  • Joe & Mac 2: Lost in the Tropics
  • Kirby’s Dream Course
  • Kirby’s Dream Land 3
  • Pilotwings
  • Star Fox
  • Stunt Race FX
  • Super EDF Earth Defense Force
  • Super Ghouls’n Ghosts
  • Super Mario Kart
  • Super Mario World
  • Super Mario World 2: Yoshi’s Island
  • Super Metroid
  • Super Puyo Puyo 2
  • Super Soccer
  • Super Tennis
  • The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past

To go along with the above, Nintendo is also offering up SNES controllers, so you can play the games like god intended.

A good amount of other exciting titles were announced. Some of the highlights are below.

Nintendo Directs are usually pretty good. Yesterday’s Nintendo Direct was a exceptional.
