Does Halo Infinite Already A Cheating Problem? Console Players Call for Option to Turn Off Cross-Play

Console gamers are calling on Microsoft and developer 343 for an option to turn off cross-play on Halo Infinite as more reports of cheating come to light.

The issues are being documented on the Halo subreddit, as it appears cheating is starting to become a noticeable problem since the free multiplayer beta was launched on November 15, 2021.

Take a look below for an example. This dude is either snorting Adderall or using an aimbot. Maybe both?

I do think that the announcer sounds great in French.

Folks have also been posting on Twitter examples of cheaters, like this fella who “no scopes” like nobody’s business.

It doesn’t help that you can’t report these cheating bastards from within the game, but if you encounter any of them you should definitely report them using the Xbox App via their Gamertag. 343 should look into the reporting function as well, just add that to the list.

Even Dr. Dissrespect is getting in on the act. Now you know shit is starting to get real.

Microsoft and 343 need to fix this, this game is far too good to be dragged into the muck. I’m no developer, but there seem to be some easy solutions to get this rebalanced.
