It has been said that “beauty is only skin deep.” It has also been said that “beauty, is in the eye of the beholder.” These sayings were probably coined by ugly people. Let’s not beat around the bush here. The Playstation 5 is fucking ugly. The Wildcats Cheerleaders, I think, said it best.

It’s so ugly that I had to buy after market black panels, just so my Xbox Series X wouldn’t be embarrassed standing next to it.

According to Digitimes however, Sony is gearing up to update the internal architecture of the PS5 to help cope with the global semiconductor shortage. Maybe if Sony can ramp up production with a more efficient design, then maybe folks other than scalpers can get their hands on this ugly console.
