According to DIGITIMES, “Nintendo is reportedly planning to release in mid-2020 a new model of Switch, which will begin volume production at the end of first-quarter 2020, according to sources from the related upstream supply chain.”

Rumors of a Switch “Pro” have existed back when there was talk of a Switch Lite, which ultimately came true. Now it appears that we have a new, more powerful Switch entering production soon.

If rumors regrading this Switch “Pro” turn out to be true, one may expect this device to be 4K capable, with improved battery life, and perhaps lager capacity game carts.
