Not a lot of people may know this, but Nintendo is older than dirt. Back in September 23, 1889, Fusajiro Yamauchi founded Nintendo in Kyoto, Japan. Of course, years later the company would pivot to more high tech endeavors.

So, Happy Birthday Nintendo, and thank you for bringing so much joy to the world in the way of games and consoles. Except for the Virtual Boy, that was ass and made people sad.
