I’m a big fan of the Nintendo Switch. Check that, I have an irrational love for this little console. What’s not to love about the Switch? It plays Nintendo games and handles modern ports surprisingly well.
I like the Switch so much I bought Mortal Kombat 11, so that I can play it when I’m out and about, even though I have also purchased the far superior version on the Xbox One X. I also own a version of Doom for both the Switch and the Xbox One X. This makes me a completely irrational person.
Another thing that makes the Switch so enjoyable is the library of classic NES games available to Switch Online subscribers. I love playing these games even though I am now horrible at them. At least Nintendo is giving me the option to rewind after I fuck up so that I can try again.
Also, Nintendo has announced two new additions for July, just in time to take advantage of the new rewind feature.
I’m going to need this rewind feature now more than ever. My gut is telling me that I’m not going to be very good at these games anymore either.
