ESPN however are looking to cash in on the wild popularity of eSports and are bringing them back to the X Games after a three year hiatus and Apex Legends will headline.
20 teams from around the world will compete for a pot worth $150,000, with qualifiers starting on June 29. The finals will take place August 2-3 in Minneapolis. The events will be televised live and a final highlights show will air on ESPN 2.
