When the Shadowkeep expansion launches on September 17 at $35, Bungie will make the base version of Destiny 2 free-to-play. All future expansions will come with a cost as well, as they already do today.

Also announced today by Bungie is that cross-play is coming to all platforms, including the PS4.

Bungie is moving on from their partnership Activision with some bold moves.
