Wreck it Ralph was one of the first videogame movies where I felt it respected the source material. You can tell that the makers were gamers, or at the very least, consulted actual gamers. I thoroughly enjoyed the original and I am looking forward to the sequel.
I actually get a bit of The Emoji Movie vibe from this, but this looks, how should I say, much less like a steaming pile of crap.
