It seems like Microsoft will do just about anything to close the ever widening gap between the Xbox One and Playstation 4. That is a good thing for Xbox fans.
The Xbox Game Pass is Microsoft’s version of a Netflix like service for games. $10 a month gets you a pretty decent library of games to choose from. I think it’s a pretty good deal if you play a lot of games exclusively on Xbox.
Well, Microsoft is sweetening the pot a bit, if you will, by announcing that all new titles published by Microsoft Studios will be released into Xbox Game Pass on day and date of their global release. That will include highly anticipated games like Sea of Thieves, State of Decay 2 and Crackdown 3.
At $10 per month, that is a pretty good deal. Enough to close the gap with Sony? Probably not, but at least Microsoft is making decisions that that will resonate with gamers.
